From crap spot to crop plot.

This is part one of the pictorial look at the evolution of a random area at the bottom of the garden which over the coming months will be a veggie patch.    The first three weeks was all about clearing the plot!

Removal of tree roots. A proud moment!

My first veggie patch’ started last year with ‘crops in pots’ a project to keep my Dad occupied after having operations to his knee – he became fairly immobile, I wanted to give him something to occupy his time whilst he recovered.    In general the activity was a success, obviously there were learnings which I’m hoping to put into practice with this years project.
